Overview
The Senior Paralegal is responsible for preparing and drafting legal documents and providing support to the attorneys within the Legal Department. Assists with transactional and litigation matters including contract review and preparation. Coordinates with in-house counsel, business personnel and outside counsel on legal issues relating to the foregoing. Must be familiar with a variety of legal concepts, practices and procedures.
Responsibilities
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Review, edit, and draft various types of contracts and participate in contract negotiations
Ensure contracts are consistent with applicable law, corporate strategy, and internal policies and procedures
Develop, update, and maintain contract templates, forms, and guidelines
Track assigned projects, issues, and status related to transactions and documents
Assist internal legal team with litigation-related support
Provide legal support for projects in various departments such as Finance, Tax, and Human Resources

Qualifications
Additional Requirements:
Education/Experience : Bachelor’s Degree; Minimum of 8 + years transactional experience (specifically drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial contracts); or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Specific Skills:
Ability to draft moderate to complex, non-routine contractual instruments
Ability to read, analyze and interpret contractual legal and business terms
Expert knowledge of contracting concepts
Excellent analytical and organizational skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skillsUse of independent judgment and creativity applied to resolution of contract issues
Excellent internal and external customer relations and negotiation skills
Ability to build and maintain good relationships both internally and externally at all levels
Ability to maintain confidentiality and sensitive business information
Ability to exercise independent, sound judgment Ability to manage multiple matters simultaneously
Strong attention to detail and appreciation for data integrity
Ability to work in a fast paced environment
Self-starter, ability to identify necessary tasks, plan projects and bring to completion
Computer Skills: Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft products, such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations : Paralegal Certification.

Work Environment : Office Environment or Remote as necessary.
Language Skills: English.
